 About Lissett Pisfil

I am a bilingual Spanish speaking therapist dedicated to providing a safe, genuine, and warm space for people to share openly.

My desire is to instill hope by helping people cope with the tough moments in life. My goal is for people to feel empowered and experience growth and healing in our time together. 

Personal Bio

I have focused my practice on helping people struggling with relationship problems such as:

  • Family conflict w/ parenting (young children and adolescents) 

  • Blending families
  • Communication problems
  • Premarital Conflicts
  • Marital discord

My training enables me to offer individual, couples, and family counseling. My experience includes working with adults, adolescents, and children with a range of challenges. These include:

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Behavior at the University of California, Irvine.  Subsequently,  I completed the Marriage and Family Therapy program at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) and received a Master of Science in Counseling. 

During my practicum, I worked on campus at CSULB’s community clinic and I also worked at Turning Point Center for Families in Santa Ana.

I am currently working through my internship in private practice under the supervision of Rebecca L. Schwarz, LMFT.
